Educational Data Management and Learning Analytic

Education institutions are collecting big data about learners and how they learn. Learning data from all digital resources can help inform students’ success, institutional academic decisions, learning design, and provide a common data format for research on students’ learning effectiveness and a need of lifelong learning system. Learning analytic is the measurement, collection, analysis and reporting of data about learners and their contexts, for purposes of understanding and optimising learning and the environments in which it occurs. Learning analytics and educational data mining are the tools to transform this data into knowledge and lead, in the end, to improved education.
